Reverse Camera Wiring - 2010 Gmc Sierra

Hi All,

 

I've spent a great deal of time searching the forum looking for an answer to my question and haven't found it. I have a 2010 GMC Sierra Crew Cab All Terrain Z71. I have a regular radio with no navigation. My mirror is self dimming. The compass and temperature are on the dash not on the mirror. Nevertheless, I only have onstar on the mirror. I was wondering if all the wiring was already at the mirror and the back of the truck for the camera mirror and tailgate bezel camera. I looked around the back end of the truck and noticed a number of harness'. They are for the rear lighting, licence plate wiring and hitch.

 

Prior to going out and purchasing a package I was thinking if the wiring was already present I would just get the mirror and bezel camera alone.

 

Any suggestions??

The wiring harness for the backup camera is not on your truck unless you had the backup camera option. The link below has instructions for adding the backup camera system to your truck.
