Well, I'll do both.

 

House: Well, couldn't tell ya, house isn't A\C'd 4 or 5 fans in the room I'm in now, all cranked to High.

 

Vehicle: We run the air at 1 or 2. It rarely goes all the way to 4.

We run ours at around 78 during the summer here in the house.  If it was my choice I would run it at about 70 and just not use lights to save power.

I wish we could do that, especially for the months straight of 110+ heat.  But too d@mn expensive to do that here in the stupid desert...

I know what you mean. My wife is from Arizona. The electrical bills in the summer are huge but the heating bills are small in winter.

In the car I'll usually just have the window down, but on days like yesterday where it's 90 and the sun is beating down I set the climate control to about 76 or so.  Reason being if I set it low like 65-70 it's blowing full blast all the time and I get annoyed by the howling of it.

 

In the house it's usually around 73 and everyone else here hates heat so if it gets to be like 80 out the A/C is almost always on.  Not that it matters to me though, since the basement always stays fairly cool all summer long (and winter too  :angry: )

Dontcha hate it when someone gets cold and moves the thermostat to 90, then 5 minutes later gets hot and moves the thermostat to 60!!!!

Usually 74-76 in the house.  In the wifes van we set the auto climate control to 74.  In the truck it is turned down as cold as it goes, and the fan is at notch 2.
