Don't waste your time with autopartsdealer.com. They might have a vast listing and low-ball prices, but they'll keep moving your shipping date further and further back. Can't deliver the goods, and put charges on your credit card as soon as you place an order, not when the item actually ships. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like stuff like that. Stay with the real merchants, particularly with the sponsors of the various forums.

My belief is now that they priced the item too low by mistake and kept moving the delivery date back in hopes that I would cancel the order, which I did.

i got my dynomax system from them, after about a 2 weeks. they never moved my shipment dates around tho..

If they dont ship mine this week as the revised date says I'm canceling my order too Ive been waiting almost a month..sounds like you got lucky min9861..kind of messed up you got yours after ordering like two weeks after me ..sucks for me

you can call me min. but where are you guys located? their company is located in irvine, ca, about 30 minutes away from where i live. so maybe thats why?

UPDATE: Had no problem getting a credit card refund from these folks on that order. Might be a little hesitant to order something else, though.

i ordered something about a week and a half ago. tried to cancel the next day after reading this. it couldnt be done, it was set to ship the 1st, i got it today.

Yup very good prices.

Good to know about that place! I was about to order a MIT from them since they had the lowest price. But I went ahead and order thru Summit Racing since they price match their competitors.

Well............let it never be said that I would let my feelings get in the way of a good deal. I'm gonna apologize about what I said earlier, because I gave autopartsdealer dot com another chance and they redeemed themselves. Last Sat. (Nov 13) I ordered an Airaid MIT from them because they were $20 cheaper and had free UPS shipping. They gave me a shipping date of Nov 16 and I just got it in my hot little hands (Nov18). That sure makes up for the other snafu. Guess I'll have to be a fanboy now.

I guess, just keep on top of your orders.

BUMP

I just got burned by this company this past week. I ordered front and rear sway bar bushing kits for my Avalanche from them for $44.30 shipped, which was much cheaper than many other stores. A few days later, I received an eMail from them explaining that they incorrectly labeled the sale price on their website and required another $17.44 from me.

So then their price of $61.74 became more expensive than just about everywhere. I went back to their website and added the two bushing kits to my cart again. I noticed that the prices had changed, but the total with shipping only came out to $52.10... WTF!?!

After waiting on hold for about ten minutes, they told me that they had already canceled the order and that I would receive my refund soon. Well today, I finally got my refund, but only $30.02, not the $44.30 I originally paid.

STAY AWAY!
