Superchips programmer for 8.1/Allison

I saw a while back that Superchips has a programmer for the 8.1 that works with the Allison.  Has anyone tried it yet?  Results?

Talk to Tom Byrne from TByrne Motorsports (a sponsor here), he had a GP on them last month and he had contacted Superchips relating to questions we had here.  Perhaps you could pick his brain.

I'd look on the Allison website before you superchip your 8.1.  It's at www.allisontransmission.com.  There's a section under the FAQ for the 1000 tranny about adding superchips.  Just a thought-Fitz

I went to their site but I couldn't find any reference to Superchips.  I scanned for "program" but didn't turn up anything related to aftermarket programmers.

 

Can you give me more info please?
