Air Raid Intake

Can get a cheap intake for my 07 nbs 5.3. Do these use an oiled filter if they do is there any replacment dry filters? Can i just drop the intake in without worrying about the maf or anything else?

The Airaid CAI kits does use an oiled filter. I'm not sure what dry filter(if any) will fit that particular intake. You would probably be better off just installing the Airaid MIT and an aftermarket paper drop in filter if you don't want to use the oiled filter. I have the Airaid MIT with an Amsoil nanofiber drop in filter in my stock air box and I'm very happy with it. Someone else may know more about other filters fitting the Airaid CAI.

You can get just the tube from airaid that will work with your stock filter box.

Ya i realize that but that but its 80 cheaper to buy this used air intake system then it would to buy a brand new MIT. So will the intake tube from the kit fit my stock airbox?
