Yep, no need to waste any money on POS, useless TB spacer

I agree with the others on the throttle body spacer, as for the CAI check out the GMPP intake. Also try contacting Brent at Bruce Lowrie Chevy in Ft. Worth. They had a few on ebay, and I purchased one, and he made me a great deal on a cat back exhaust for almost half of list price. He is a great guy to deal with.

Forget the spacer, unless you have a TB it will do nothing...its pretty much dead technology if you can consider a piece of plastic technology lol

2009-2010 intakes are different in that the MAF is now integrated with the top of the airbox...2007-2008 has a separate mount. FYI the Airaid MIT that's specified for the 07-08 WILL fit in your truck, although if that's your only mod I'd advise you to not even do it. Yes with an intake, exhaust, tune, etc you can help out your power but the MIT by itself in your truck will do nothing more than lighten your wallet :D

TB spacers are quite possibly the most useless mod ever and if anyone claims they're useful, they're lying. I've seen pre and post TB spacer install dyno charts and there's absolutely no difference whatsoever.

so what is there I can do to get some more power? buy a V8?

to put it bluntley yes, the 4.3 is the dinosaur of vortecs being it was the first vortec...there are things you can do to get a little more grunt out of it but it would be cheaper just go go up to a 4.8 or 5.3
