Hella Driving Lights Problem

I've had a set of Hella 1000 Series Black Magic driving lights on my truck for a couple years now.

This weekend they just stopped working. I've checked connections, fuse, bulbs, switch & retaped everything. I ordered a new 30A relay which should be in by end of week. Any wiring gurus out there who can give me some instructions on diagnosing problem area? I've got a tester. Wondering if I can use tester or a jumper wire to locate problem? BTW, I've used the Hella wiring harness that came with the kit and it is triggered by energizing my passenger side high beam feed line. Thanks in advance for input.

Not uncommon for the relays to crap out- You can pick them up at Auto zone or similar pretty cheaply- worth having a spare one in the glove compartment or console-

I had a set of those black magics on my previous truck and they were great. Only gripe - Relay quit and had to be changed after a couple of years of heavy use. Change yours and you should be back in buisness. NOTE - Don't use the clear covers with the 100w bulbs.

Turns out I had 2 bad relays, the one that came with it and an old one I had from a previous install. Put the new one in and came right on. I'm running clear covers with stock bulbs, but just got a set of 100W bulbs to put in next burnout. Thanks for the verification - I'll know now to keep a couple spares on hand. Just glad it wasn't a wiring gremlin.
