I want to put the RC 2" Leveling kit on my truck by my question is? I tow a bass boat and if i throw on the RC kit, and I tow im sure the rear end will end up lower than the front. I know my 2 options are add a leaf spring or get bags but kinda dont wanna spend the money for the bags. What do you guys think????

You could also put longer blocks on it.

Hmmmm ya that is also an option. I guess in the end I just need to take some measurements to do the math and find out what I need to offset the drop in the rear from towing.

How big is the boat? I have a RC kit on mine and when I would tow my bass boat it really didn't make much of a difference because the boat just wasn't heavy enough. My parents 30' pontoon boat did make the rear sag enough to notice that the rear was lower than the front. The pontoon boat is well over 4000 lbs though.

Tongue weight on a boat/trailer should not be over s few hundred pounds. Get a couple of buddies to stand in the bed near the tailgate and you'll know how it;s going to look.

The tongue weight on my boat was enough to drop the bumper on my crewcab almost 2". I put on a set of super springs, and it now only drops 1", and it did not affect the ride at all.

My boat is 18' 9", and weighs in around 3500 lbs, and I'd guess the tongue weight is in the 250-300 lb range at least....it's all I can do to pick it up, and I ain't little.

Figure 1600 for the hull, 600 for the motor, 900 for the trailer, and another 200 for tackle/etc, and with a full tank, another 350 in fuel, 3 batteries for ~ 225....that comes to 3750 easily

Let's just say the axle on my trailer is barely enough for the load it is carrying.

AAL's aren't bad. I have some on my truck. Rides slightly rougher, but worth the extra payload capacity they add.
