2011 Sierra Universal Remote Programming

Having some trouble getting the universal remote programmed to my garage door. Followed the owners manual instructions, no luck. Anyone know of any tricks I might be missing? Thanks for your help.

You pushing the little red button on the garage door opener?

 

Have the truck in the garage, open.

push the outside 2 buttons for 2-3 seconds then let go

Push the little red button on the garage door opener on the ceiling

Push and hold the button you want to control the garage door in the truck till the light blink and starts to close

 

Then your all done. Took about 30 seconds total for me.
