bandaman Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I really want to personalize the front of my 07 GMC Sierra GMT-900..... I like the Denali look, but those are pricey, plus I think they are just the chrome plated plastic that the grille shell is made from. I would rather have polished stainless or billet. I like the looks of the Street Scene Speed grille, but I can't find much info on it. It looks cool in the pics, they are for sale everywhere. The $150-$160 price sounds decent....... I have not seen one in person up close and the very little I have read about them indicates that they might be cheap and flimsy and a pain to install. Going over the factory grille sounds like the best and easiest way, but I am not opposed to cutting out the factory grill to install the "right one" if it is good quality and looks nice. I've been searching here, but not finding much about the "fit over" inserts or the SS grille. Any opinions on the Speed Grille, or other recommendations?
mtsusa Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I have a carriage works billet grille (replacement) that I bought from autoanything.com for $110...works and looks great (you can see it in my sig pic)
brad519 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Not sure if you'd be interested in the type of grill insert I have but I got it off ebay for about 65.00
AGT Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I think there are some great grilles for the Sierra. I wish they have more open replacement grilles for the silvy
brad519 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I don't think he wants anything from another model lol I'm a self admitted dumbass I read the main post on the phone then didn't even look at the fact he had a GMC when I posted. Sorry doing to many things at once LOL
