When it gets cold outside, below 40 degrees. When i start my truck, the reduce engine power light comes on and i have a rough to low idle speed. It stays that way until the truck is at opereating temp. Also when that reduce engine power light comes on it does not effect my engine power.

Have a throttle body and top engine clean performed. Pretty simple and painless. There were some issues with the TAC motor and it's wiring also but usually those were not temperature sensitive.

Have put on a new throttle body and have done some engine cleaning, it still has this issue.

Restring all wires from the throttle body to the TAC module including replacing all needed terminals on both ends of those circuits. You have a connection or wiring issue on those circuits if the throttle plate isn't sticking and if you've

recently replaced the TB.

Have checked some of the connections. Just a question, how come this doesn't happen when its warm outside?

Temperature cycles wire just like regular metal. Hot expand, cold contract. Terminals do the same thing.

I live in an area of the country that sees all four seasons and spring/fall are the busiest times of the year for

odd ball, intermittent issues like this. Nature of the beast, so to speak.
