1997 Chevy S 10 Oil Leak

I have a 1997 Chevy S10 with a 4.3. it has the remote oil filter in the front.

 

You have to open the little door to get to it.

 

It looks like the lines going from the engine to the filter are leaking

 

or the adapter that bolts to the engine is leaking.

 

Not sure where to start to find what is leaking.

 

They don't happen to make a kit to eliminate the remote filter do they???

Fairly common to develop a leak at the engine adapter. There are several o-ring gaskets. Also washer gaskets at the hose ends where they meet the adapter and at the filter block as well. I posted diagrams of the whole setup a good while back. I'll see if I can find that post. Of course the lines themselves can develop a leak at the crimps. it's usually one of the other mentioned spots though.
