2001 Blazer Lt 4.3 4wd

anyone every have this happen?

on there s10 blazer

we have owned the truck 2 weeks been in and out of 4 high

no problems.one night it wouldn't start had all lites and wipers

waited 1/2 hour tried it ,it jumped forward but started right up

and I noticed a bit clunky going into gear

drove fine for 2 days waiting to get it in to GM to have it checked out

put the scanner on it ,no codes,no check engine lite battery connections clean tight

14volts at the battery running ,4x4 switch operates fine, engine runs smooth

 

then yesterday on her way to work she was in 2WD

heard a scrapping sound when she turned left

the front wheels locked up! she said it felt like 4Low all the sudden

again no check engine lite, 4wd switch operates no problem

she pulled off and stopped right away

and we had it towed into the dealer

now we are just waiting for the call$$$$$$$$$$$

its almost un bearable to tell you the truth

Im thinking hubs,cv joints,transfer case

the worst of course

I have never had this happen on any of my 4x4's

the prevoius owner replaced ball joints and drivers side Hub in august of this year

as well as front rotors and calipers & pads and did an alignment

and gave us all the bills for everything he had done on it

so Im kinda lost as to why but I guess the lurching forward was my warning

update !!!

nothing wrong with the powertrain

turns out 3 out of 4 of the brake calipers were put on wrong

at canadian tire one came off and wrecked a rim but thats it

the previous owner took it there for brakes which I would never ever do

fellow canadians take note!!!!!

I will be taking this matter up with them believe me

serious saftey issue here

I just never got it in to GM for inspection fast enough

our new little chevy is going to be fine

and from here on in nobody but GM will touch this truck

being a tech,do you think GM will give me a letter stating improper installation

causing damage or will they just show what they did to repair it on the work order?

 

Crappy tire says we have no warranty because it is not transferable to us, the previous owner had the work done not us in august

warranty ? does he actually think I would try to take that truck back to them or any vehicle for that matter, Ediot !! My children were in that truck 8 hrs earlier you half assed jerk off

if chevy will back me up Ill slap him with just the repair bill if hes lucky and not go to my laywer
