Adding Cruise And Dic

I just bought an '08 Savana AWD van and have yet made arangments to pick it up.

 

Pictures show the DIC switches in the dash hopfully they are full function............

 

I want to add cruise to it. my '04 silverado was plug and play with the new multifunction switch. I have located a wheel on e-bay both w/ and w/o radio controls any input here will be helpfull.

 

I am a former GM tech so I am not scared of major dissasembly and this van does not have tilt column so I would consider adding a tilt if I have to from a salvage yard.

Adding cruise will require programming that your dealer has been instructed by GM not to support.

So you just need the right tech to help you out.............

I don't think it will be a problem to get a tech to help you, however they generally have to call GM Techline and then the Tech Assistance

Center reconfigures the Vehicle Configuration and sends the software back thru the computer which then gets uploaded into your vehicle.....GM Techline will probably hold you up...
