Replace Bose Amp Nbs - Chimes

I would like to add an amplifier to my NBS truck. It is a non-Bose system. I have read plenty of threads on this issue. I will probably use a PAC module (Maybe toss the module and just use the connectors). My only concern is the level of the chimes. I am not crazy about only amping the back channels thing. So with PAC module I am basically reducing High level outputs to plug in low level to the amp, or bypass the module and go high level to high level.

I am wondering if I have the radio reprogrammed (dealer) for a Bose amp, this will give me low level out of the radio and directly drive the amp with low level. Will this solve the Chime volume issue?

In theory, this is the same same as replacing the amp in a Truck built with Bose. Has anybody done this and if so did you have the chime issue?

I have an 05' Silvy that has Bose w/6 cd changer. I bought a module from PAC, this plugged into my factory wiring and provided RCA outputs that I connected to my subs. I did not amp my factory speakers, they sound really good as is. The chimes have never been an issue for me (knock on wood) they have remained the same. They come through my front speakers only. I would assume this is because I went with the module that converted the signal vs. the high level, speaker wire route.

Good luck!

PS> The module I bought was this:

I also bought this to control the sub volume independently of the other speakers:
