Which Oil To Use?

I went over 50,000 miles and am about to go get my oil changed. What should I have them put in? Is there any benefit to anything other then the standard put in right now?

 

I got it at 48,000 miles(at like 52 and a month past due on oil change now). Would the dealer have replaced all the air filters and other stuff that might have been needed changed soon?

so you went 50k on an oil change? if so your frickin out of your mind...get oil that meets GM's recomendations and a good filter like ac delco/wix or napa gold and drive on...oil is like women, everybody has their preferences..i run mobil one with an ac delco filter but dino/synthetic both are good long as they are kept within a sound maintance schedule

I think that he was saying that he bought the truck when it had 48,000 miles on it.

 

I run M1, but everyone has got their own thing. I think that a lot of people are starting to switch to Penzoil Platinum becasue it apparently has better wear properties. It is up to you really.
