Ron, CA, if you don't mind me asking what size are your tires?

Ron, I just saw your other thread and answered my own questions, nice truck and I love the way it sits :)

here is a pic i hope

Great looking truck. I like those factory wheels if I didn't have my own, I would have those.

My truck got keyed this holiday weekend

That sucks!

So does that make me the first Storm Gray with a pin stripe?

i almost wish my truck would get keyed. then i could get the bumper painted and not feel bad. i got "swiped" by some pos in a disney lot, saw it when i was detailing her before i lef tto come home. My insurance company wants me to pay my deductible i say for what? i wasn't in it, i don't even know for sure it WAS a car :) . Anyway, with a "key" job i wouldn't pay a deductible, it's considered non preventable and i could have the guy spray the bumper to.. only reason i haven't had it done is i feel like if i get the minor scrape painted and it gets nicked up in a lot Again i'm gonna freak out. on top of that if it starts to peel, looks different etc. but if someone actually keyed it, it would be a done deal..

let us know how it goes with insurance and the painting process, as with the storm gray i'm curious to see what a repaint will come out like? a guy from my friend's shop put the kybosh on it for me. telling me he had a vette this color way backa nd it never looked right after a panel respray

I didnt know insurance covers getting keyed, I will have to look into it. I fear that the respray wont match the factory paint that just looks so good.

i know. i know. i am just sticking it out until it really gets on my nerves or gets tagged again.. maybe i'll get lucky and somebody will "key" the bumper hahahaha. we're both in similar boats, yours a little worse than mine, but at least your is metal, i would take a repaint door or fender over a bumper 10 out of 10 times..

Hello Everyone!

Long time GM owner, new to the forum.. Just bought an '09 GMC Sierra C/C 1500 Z71 4x4.

Love the Storm Grey... Was set on white until I saw the C/C in this color. It already had the wheels and chrome add-ons when I bought it... not 100% sure if there staying yet.. I'm a contractor and travel allot and am more interested in durability and longevity then the bling bling factor.

Added a low-pro tool box, a line-x liner, silverstar fog lights, and an alarm / remote start

Sorry for the bad pic, I cleaned and waxed it last night and this morning it was pouring down rain....

I'm a little late to the party, but here's a couple pics of mine from about a year ago.

The day after I bought it:

A month later, showing off the levelled front end and the 285/70-17 BFG A/Ts:

Only thing I've really added since that last pic was the soft tonneau cover.

To you Storm Gray guys, how does the colour hold up as far as showing water spots/dirt etc. I have silver now and like how it hides all of this and am interested in possibly looking at the Strom Gray for my next rig (end of Marchish). Any feedback you could provide me would be great. Thanks.
