Front End Noise?

My truck makes a pretty bad sounding "wawb wawb wawb" noise whenever im driving and the wheel is slightly turned. Its a pretty loud noise. My mechanic told me its my tires, but i know dam well thats it not the tires.

Im thinking it could either be the ball joints, the intermediate steering shaft, or my caliper?

Is there any way to eliminate any of the above problems?

yes ,take it to a technician

he may say tires as well

bjs and steering shafts do not go wawb wawb,

maybe a hub also

and calipers do not make noises .

re-road test sitting beside a tech

good luck

lots of posts on this but i will say it again, lol,

lift the wheel of the ground .

grab top and bottom of tire and rock in and out ,you will feel a very VERY small amount of movment if the hub is GOOD and if there is a lot of slop then its done,

do that to both sides ,

somewhere in that town you live a tech is not taking your money for this and his children will suffer a shitty xmas ..........lol

just kidding lol
