Another Storm!

Went out yesterday afternoon to plow, and it started snowing again this morning. Looks like a back to back $$$$ money maker. Models are also hinting at a potential big coastal storm for next Tues. If the Tues storm comes true, it's gonna be a great money maker with over a foot of snow or more for majority of the tri state area. Todays snow is the same as yesterdays ( a nice light fluffy snow). Could use the Redmax blowers on this snow it is so light.

Also on long range (Jan 22) the GFS was showing a monster coastal snow storm! Major money maker if it becomes a reality, paralazing the tri state area. But to trust the models that far out is foolish, yet is exciting to see a scenerio like that. The last few months, the NAO has been very negative, but recent NAO values are heading positive, which translate the potential for some really good coastal storms for the MA and NE areas. Cold air is going to be going nowhere soon, so get ready to start raking in the money!

I work for the school system....when it snows hard, they close the schools and offices, I get a paid day off, and O/T for snow removal.....time and a half on all O/T ....unless Sunday or holiday....Double time

I gotta get more wood in the garage also.....10 cords split and ready to roll, but only bring a 1/4 cord in the garage at a time. So far since July, only burned 57 gallons of fuel oil...including hot water....1800 sq. ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath split level ranch South Western Connecticut, 8 miles to the New York border

It's been a very cold winter this season. As far south as Florida has been affected by this cold air. Looking forward towards tomorrow as to see what this potential coastal storm is going to bring us. This storm has the potential to have 20:1 snow ratios which could mean 15" not out of the equation. It would be a light powdery snow, which makes plowing more easier, with less time spent plowing at accounts and making more money from the addational inches of snow.
