Best Amp Install Locations 07 Gmc Ext Cab

I have 07 sierra ext cab with buckets,consol and power seats. Can I install under the consol or would it be to hot. I have 2 amps one 4 channel & a 2 channel to the sub. Maybe can they go back of the rear seat, looks small to me .I would like to save the room under the back seats for sub 1 side and storage the other. thanks

You can mount to the rear wall if you cut the padding out. Plenty of room.

thanks ... is there a bracket or something to mount to on the back wall? did you cut all padding or just enough to fit amps ? are there any reprocussions that you know ie road noise cold or hot that is noticable ?

I do not know, That is just where most members mount them from what I have seen.

holy smokes thanks thats exactly what i was looking for.... he sure did a nice job. the depth of this site is phennominal. i have found so much info on these trucks i can not bieleve it.
