How Much Nitrous Can I Go With?

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 4.8 only mods will be a Flowmaster muffler (done) a CAI and a handheld tuner. So I am looking to find out I have had Nitrous I virtually evey Vechicle I have ever owned. The last being my 2000 mustang gt and that I pushed a 150 shot on it. How much of a shot can these engines or trucks in general handle? I am not sure if they are forged internals at all I am thinking f putting a 125 shot on it. and hopin that can get me into the 13's in the 1/4 it a regualr cab shortbed. let me know what yo all think I defiantly apreciate it thanks.

Friend has been spraying a 150-175shot for 3 years on his head/cammed 5.3. He has a good tune. Had around 80 bottles rabids through it. He is a big street racer.

Just my opinion here, but I'd put at least a cam(for more efficiency) and rod bolts(for high revs) on it before you start spraying but a stock will handle a 150 shot no problem.

150 should be just fine for stock internals.

Agreed. Also Im not sure if I would put a 150 shot on with a hand held tuner unless I knew how much timing the hand held was advancing....
