New Owner - '10 Silverado 1500 Hybrid In Nc

Just came back from the dealer yesterday with a 2010 Silverado 1500 2WD Hybrid. It had 13,000 miles on it.

 

I love it so far and look forward to learning more insights from these boards. My first two priorities are to find places that provide advantages for Hybrids (like the local Ritz-Carlton gives free parking) and also how to drive it in a profile that maximizes the fuel efficiency.

Thanks for the kind responses everyone. I will say that the car's average MPG meter hadn't been reset since it was purchased and when I got it at 13,200 it showed average MPG of 20.7.

I test drove a hybrid 4wd and was impressed. Does it have nav? The salesman showed me how to turn on the power meter? tp display how much elec and gas power was being used. Way I understood it, in stop and go and tooling around in parking lots was all electric. Congrats and good luck with the new truck.

I just moved to Charlotte. Originally from Atlanta but lived for the last two years in Switzerland. It is a non-NAV thus I don't have that power bar...

Congratulations on the new truck. Keep us updated on the mileage, as was mentioned not many people here have the Hybrid Silverado's.
