I know this is a simple process, just want to do it the right way. What's the best and easiest way to take the Sierra emblem off the side? Is there a sticky residue to get off also?

Thanks

I used a hair dryer, and a little rubber wheel that went on my cordless drill. Heat the area up pretty well then pull the letters off, or use fishing line. Then just let the rubber wheel go to work. it will fling off all of the sticky stuff, then touch up with some goof off or a like remover and you are done. I got the wheel at a auto parts store it was specifically for removing the 3m nasty ass tape!

Or you can do like some others if you have the time, heat up, peel off...... then just work at pulling off the tape with goof off or the like.

Thanks man, I figured a hair dryer would come into play.

Forgot to add that I had everything off in less than an hour. Wonder if I got lucky witht he adhesive coming off with the emblems because the truck was built 11/10?

Thanks for the info, my emblems have been on there since 2007. Who knows, maybe they will just fall right off when I start fooling with them! Going to get both doors done next time it's nice out.
