73-87 Pickup Cab Top

Greetings, anyone know if cab tops for 73-87 pickups are in existence anywhere? My local GM dealer says they can't get them anymore. LMC truck doesn't have them.

 

I'm in the middle of restoring a 79 Chevrolet. Body work is almost done, but noticing mother nature did more damage to the cab top than I originally thought.

Are talking about the headliner of the interior of the truck? You can look at www.lmctruck.com.

No, the roof cap on the exterior. LMC has about every part except this one.

I don't know of any. You probably will have to look for a parts truck and have that part cut off and replaced. Luckily there are enough 73-85 trucks in junkyards to fill the bill.

I think you're right. I've got all my other parts from doner trucks rather than after market because they fit so much better....but they've been a lot of work to get perfect. I was hoping for the easy road with this part.
