Odd Grinding

I have this odd grinding by my front passenger tire while reversing and cutting the wheel to the left. I have absolutely no idea what it can be. If you have any ideas I will be willing to listen. Thanks!

Reversing and cutting the steering wheel to the left is means that you are loading the passenger side hub. You better get the hub/bearing checked out if your able to hear a distinct grinding/rubbing noise. How many miles do you have on your truck? The front wheel hubs are known to need changing anywhere above 75k miles.

My truck used to grind like that in reverse only. Reason being- I had gotten stuck and had a thin mud coating on my rotor. That thin layer caused a grinding on the pad. It eventually went away after a few hundred miles of wear. My best guess? I'd say with all the salt and ice you may have some small build up on the rotor, or possibly you just need new pads. Sometimes a wear bar will only rub doing certain things. Goodluck!
