What Color Are My Keys

ordering a set of leveling keys after talking to a buddy of mine and finding out there's more engineering than meets the eyes in these little bastards but it says they may not work with certain colored keys.

 

company says to contact GM with my vin.

 

Maybe someone here has the resource to find out for me..

My 2001 HD has purple keys. There is a purple marker line on them. The 1500's have green keys which is what most HD truck guys put in theirs to obtain more lift.

 

I believe GM also uses orange keys and white keys.

this is the kit i am going to order.. they're about 15min from my house and they have it in stock.. i was down there picking up stuff for my truggy and was ready to buy them but didn't know what keys i had.
