Hitch Question

I upgraded the hitch on my 2004 Silverado 2500HD 4WD to a superhitch so now I have the factory hitch laying around and was wondering if it will fit on my daughters 2007 Silverado 1500 2WD? I would like to do something with it and have had no luck selling it..

Thanks

Actually it may fit. The frames are different and the HD hitches are rated for more weight but the holes may still line up. No way of knowing unless you stick it up there.

im pretty sure the classic 2007 style shares the same relevant dimensions to make the hitches compatible...

i sold my hitch to a guy with a 1500 2007 nbs and he made it work with a little bit of jiggling/hogging out a hole, so to speak...

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
