2010 1500 Silverado 5.3 Muffler Replacement

Hello,

 

Looking for some input on a replacement muffler for my 2010 1500 5.3 Silverado. Was thinking about having the local shop cut and replace the stock muffler with something with a little more tone and free flowing. Anyone have any suggestions or done this?

I'm kinda partial to this one:

p/n 17233 Dynomax Ultra Flo Welded, 3" center input, 3" offset outlet, stainless steel, 20" body length.

 

It has a deep, rumbley sound and can definitely handle the dreaded 5.3 AFM drone. Try one; you'll like it.

I got one from www.summitracing.com by flowmaster. summit has alot of direct replacment mufflers. I had the Dynomax on my avalanche and loved it nice sound when you got in it but mellow enough you can think when crusing down the interstate

STOP!!! Save the money and just put a piece of normal 3 inch pipe in there. You won't regret it, and it won't cost more than 30 bucks
