Was blasting thru the owner's manual this week, and noticed that the specified oil filter for the 5.3L is the PF44!! What's up with this? ???

Under the truck yesterday, although it was turned so I couldn't read the model #, it's definitely shorter than the PF59. I'll be finding out pretty soon when I change @ 1000 miles (now at 550 mi).

Anyone have any thoughts, or experiences here yet? Wonder if this has anything to do w/ ticking, cold start scuff, etc?

  Recently, I hit a pothole (more like a crater) with my truck. Since then, my truck sways and almost spins out when I hit any bumps, doesn't really matter the speed. I'm almost reluctant to drive it because it seem unsafe. Anyone else have the same issue? 2023 1500 LT Trail Boss 30,000 miles
