Blutooth Mic Location Gmt900

Where is the Blutooth Mic Located on a GMT900? Is it the thing directly above the drivers head on the headliner or is it on the ceiling console by the Map lights? I have a Kenwood blutooth mic and I want to put it as close to the OEM location as possible.

it's the same mic that OnStar uses, it's in the upper console, behind the little slits.

 

the round thing above your head in the ceiling is a temperature sensor for the auto a/c

I want the least amount of background noise. If the Audio engineers put the OEM mic in that location then it must be the quietest place to put a mic for background noise.

Before you go openning up the pillar covers and the headliner, make sure you read the maint manual about the side airbags. I haven't openned up my pillars or headliner, but I do have the manuals and it would be a shame to get hurt or damage your truck.
