Gmt-900 Rear Seat Bolt

I bought the GM underseat storage bin for my truck, and want to modify the installation slightly to make it easier to remove if necessary.

The installation instruction state to remove the nut that is holding the rear seat to the floor, place the bracket on the bolt and then replace the nut. I would like to place the bracket on top of the nut and install a wing-nut on top of the bracket since there is enough thread exposed.

Does anyone know the size of the bolt shown in the picture below. I plan on going to Lowes or Home Depot today after work, but would like to not have to buy 50 different sized wingnuts before I find one that works.

Not sure. My advice would be to take the nut into HD, find a bolt that fits it and has the same threads and get your wingnut from there.
