40 or 50 series Flowmaster

Hey guys, tailpipe finally fell off (with a little help    ) and the truck goes in the shop Monday for duals! He has 40 series, 40 series Deltaflow and 1 50 series Deltaflow muffler left. Which should I get, I don't want it too loud, but want to know it's back there. Supposedly the Deltaflows quiet the interior resonance a little, it's not so much drone.

 

Oh yeah - straight out the back or behind the rear wheels like the older Chevys   ?

 

Anyone have any pics of their setup you can post?  :thumb:

Since you tow, I would dump the exhaust out the side.

Look in the "For Sale" forum.  I'm offering a great deal on a 50 Delta Series.  Probably less than half of what the shop will charge you.

If you want it more quiet in the cab then go with the 50's...I love mine.   I do have the Dual 50's though, not the single inlet/dual outlet version.  Either way, you can't go wrong!

 

BTW,  I have mine hidden and turned down behind each of the rear wheels so you can't see anything driving behind or beside.
