Gmc Denali Quadra Steer 2002 Need Advice

Hi, a friend could buy a gmc denali quadra steer, in Europe nobodoy know this truck. What is your opinion and advices ?

Hi Thierry.

That truck is somewhat rare here in the US and quite desirable.I believe the the Quadrasteer option was $4500 when it first came out.I hardly see any of these here in Vermont.I'd love to own one.I'm unsure how readily available parts are for the rear steering components of that truck.How much is the truck (US Dollars)?

The price is equal to 30 000$, she have 137000 km and a specific installation LPG (very used (employed) in Europe for the big US V8 !!) for economy of gas.

I wouldn't have minded having a Q-steer truck when they were out,but the $4500.00 price tag for the option when I was ordering a truck in '04 made it too expensive,and out of my price range at the time.

Parts are still readily available for them.

Had an 04. Loved it, would still have it if I didn't need a 2500.

About reliability..I should have also added in my post above,All the ones we sold new (probably about a dozen over the years they were out) we never had any come back for any issues with the Quadrasteer system.

from what I know the system was done right, GM had figured out how to do it and be reliable. the big problem and the only reason it is no longer available is that the option carried a high price tag. The high price was just too much for most consumers to justify.

That's explain why they are so rare in Europe, it is the first time that me (and all friends fans of US 4x4) we see a truck like this.

I would LOVE to own one. One of my good friends has an 03 with it. He currently has a little over 80,000 miles on it and has not had one issue with it. Seems like a VERY reliable system. Good luck with it!
