i dont think this is too serious but yesterday me and the lady were lookin at a new house, it was snowing like crazy. we pulled into a driveway and the truck was running SUPER rough all of a sudden. it felt like it was miss firing really bad, then all of a sudden stopped...?? enough to scare me anyways. i just want some opinions, bad gas? i run a K&N FIPK they are wide open could have been clogged with snow...those are the only things i can think of. didnt throw a code...this lasted for about a minute maybe then just went away. maybe fuel pump had a hiccup...

I would guess it is the after market filter you're using. Moisture can get into them (I've heard this and read posts about this at other forums) and what your describing with how your engine was running is exactly what other people described while using one of these after market open air filters. Most of the posts also mentioned about current weather conditions of snow and rain and some after they washed their truck's engine. I would put the stock box back on if I were you. More air flow = less protection.

ya the town i live in is notorious for getting bad fuel...so that would be my guess i think. i put in a bottle of injector cleaner and some gas line anti-freeze the last fill up i just did yesterday. never done anything like that again...so far
