Stock 20'' Tires?

hey fellas i havent been around these parts for about 4 months i have been moving across the country!! well 3 months without my sierra and not i have her back! the plan was to put a 4'' rancho kit on it with some bmf s.o.t.a.s and nitto trail grapplers....but the truck money basically went to the trucking company who moved my stuff cross country! so i have to hold off on the lift/rims but i DO need tires BAD mine are in awfull shape.

my question is i have factory 20'' wheels and i was wondering what size tires i could run with a 2'' level i am awfull with tire sizing and offsets of wheel and all that good stuff right now i am running 275/55/20'' TOYO A/T's on it now but am looking to go with something a little more aggresive like the trail grappler/MT MTZ/MT ATZ/ or something of that sort i guess. i know a big clunky tire wont look overly good on a truck that is just level. so i guess im looking for a happy medium.\

as always the input is greatly appreciated!

305/50/20 and 275/60/20 are probably the most common sizes for leveled trucks with 20's. The 305's will be about the same height as the stockers, but wider. The 275's will be the same width as stock, but taller. Just depends on what look you're goin for.

Ya but the price difference between the 305's and the 275/60's is outrageous. I just had to make a similar decion and went with 275/60/20 Coooper Zeon LTZ's

I found the Cooper 305/50 was cheaper than the 275/60.

So the newer trucks with the coil over spring front ends and a levelling kit (either the Rough Country or Bilstein) can run 275/60/20 tires without any rubbing? Seems to me that is the way to go even though you may give up ~1 mpg due to the increased weight of the tire but you get to fill up some of the wheel well space.

Yes, they'll fit and the extra height will fill out the wheel wells....but expect more than a 1 mpg loss with the level and bigger tires.
