School Update

So for everyone who is still in school how are your semesters going?

 

So far so good for me.  Best semester so far for me (and its the hardest   )  Senior design is going well.  Have everything ordered just waiting to get some parts machined, then i have to polish them and send em off for heat treatment.  

 

Cant wait for my final semester.  4 classes (2 elecives 1 econ and 1 mgmt class) and 2 engineering classes.  Then it is all over !!!

Wow, that must be a tough major!  What direction do you intend on taking after school?

no idea yet.  Next semester when i have more time ill start looking for possible careers

 

Hopefully (probably not) ill find something close to home at least for a few yrs while my gf finishes up school.

Lowest grade so far is a 94  :thumb:   I'm doin al right, gettin good grades, my future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!

School blows.  You can put whatever spin you want on it, but in the end, it still sucks.  Wish there was something I liked about it, but think as I can, there just isn't.  Wish something was going well, but again, as per usual nothing is.

I have to agree with JP, there is nothing positive happening here at UK....classes are sucking balls, grades could be better...it not doing so good...

 

Congrat on the ME degree...I tried two years of ME classes here at UK and once I hit statics, Thermo-Dynamics, Dynamics...I was like crap on this major...

my hardest hurdle is kinematics.  I dont know why its like it is there just to tick me off and make my life heck.  Its that one class that keeps knocking you down.  I WILL WIN in the end It cant hold me down

I know you are talking about college, but I may as well reply too...

 

I hate my bio teacher, I hate my math teacher and I am not getting along too great with my PE teacher (though I don't hate him...yet).  I am passing all my classes, and making A's in most of them.  I guess that about sums it up...

I'm in HS too, but......

 

English EASSSSSSSY, teacher can't figure out why I won't go in the AP class

 

Math, easy, it a review class

 

history, its my personal easy subject

 

Computer class, I'm two weeks ahead of everyone else, so I've been doing some super slacking the last week

 

Physics, our teacher grades by completion,dosen't matter if your right worng(sad, I know)

 

Lincoln-Douglas Debate(FAVORITE CLASS BY FAR), have like a 100%, this is my second year, already got it down

This Semester is really hard for me, a lot of programming and math this time! Trying to hang in there though!

SilveradoWV, CS major?? I just finished up school in 2001 with a CS degree... I hear ya on how much fun it is... I took 4 CS classes in one semister... Not to much fun....

I am so sick of deriving things it isnt funny

 

How many employers are gonna care if i know the integral of a shape function?
