Dic Switch

I have a 2009 Sierra work truck and wanted to know if I can add the DIC switch and receive more data other than odometer, trip odometer and trans. temp.

Yes you can....it's plug-and-play.

I was told by local GM dealer that the BCM might need to be changed or replaced. Could he have been wrong!!!
