Fender Flares Without Exposed Bolts

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. Just got my new lift, tires and wheels done. Rough Country 5" suspension, Nitto Trail Grapplers and Dick Cepek DC2 wheels. I'll post some pics as soon as possible.

In the mean time, I feel like I need some fender flares because my tires, particularly the front, are really sticking out. I need something with about 2 inches of coverage, but all that I find with this much coverage have the exposed bolt look. Does Bushwacker or any other company make some that wide without the bolts?

Bushwacker Extend-A-Flare are smooth and add about 1 3/4. Summit sells them.

It looks like the fender flares you mentioned are not available for the GMT900's

My bad :P , when I checked at online at Summit using the vehicle filters they didn't show the Extend- a-Fender style for the 2009 GMC SLT only the ones with the "bolt holes" that he didn't want. Maybe the Summit catalog is not up to date for all of the Bushwacker products.

Question: are the GMT900 Silverado and GMC fenders interchangeable? Both of the sites you listed say these flares fit 2007-11 Chevy Silverado trucks, but they don't say anything about the GMC Sierra trucks. That is why I didn't find them on the Summit site, because when I entered the filters 2009, GMC, & Sierra the fender flares in question get filtered out.

Thanks for all of the help. That extend-a-fender is exactly what I want! I am interested in the answer to the last question cujo8 asked...whether the Chevy fenders will fit the GMC fenders? Actually the fact that the Bushwacker site doesn't list this model as available for the Sierra is what prompted my starting this thread.

Thanks again everyone. Once I get some confirmation that they will fit I'll be ordering a set. I've emailed Bushwacker customer service for official word.

According to Bushwacker the Chevy flares won't fit the GMC. They are in the process of developing the extend a flare for the Sierra.
