New 1500 Lt Owner

Hello all, I am new here and I just bought a Victory Red Silverado 1500 crew cab with the Z71 package. Upgrades so far are remote start (dealer installed) and putting on the "assist step" running boards. I want to put in a break controller for my trailer I pull. However, i would like to put in the factory style which is part of the lower level trim panel. I think it would look nicer then a low hanging black box controller. With this in mind does this sound like a good Idea with the Forum or would the after market work better.

 

Also a question about leveling kits. What is a good "basic" kit to use I want to bring the front up for a little more bumper clearence (seems like the new truck have a long nose) Any leads with this too would be grand.

 

I will be loading some pics of the truck once I have a good day to clean it up and take some.

So in the link you gave it basicly looks like after market would be the best way. I will look up the leveling kits now..
