Can anyone give me their views on "Putco" windows visors.

Are they any good. Apparently, they are installed "in-channel" giving a nicer finish.

How about the 3M tape, does it property adhere to the inside of the channel.

Thanks in advance.

can't speak for the GM trucks. I tried them on my Chrysler 300 and they were in channel and they came out every so often when the window was rolled down.. after about 2 months I took them off.

I had the Putco chrome in channel visors on my 08 Sierra. They never fell out and looked nicely tucked in. They did scratch the 1/4 inch of window glass which was always rubbing when going up or coming down. I then used the smoked plastic ones with the same fit and they never fell out either, they also never scratched the window glass like the chrome ones did.

I bought the chromed ones. However, only the rear windows are tinted. I'll take it from there I guess.

Thanks for your comments guys.

Much appreciated!

Best Regards

I installed these on mine 2 weeks ago and love the way it looks. Has anyone else had problems with wind noise on the driver window? As for the glass scratching, buy some felt tape and put it on the visor where the glass rubs against. Did that and makes a big difference, even on bumps it is quieter because it prevents the plastic and glass from rubbing together.
