2010 Silverado Back Up Camera Install!

Any suggestions on how i can accomplish the following?

 

I have 2010 crew ltz with factory backup camera in mirror.

 

I am adding the advent unit

 

I want to take the stock camera and mount on my salter for backing up in the winter, i would unplug it in summer.

Id like that camera to show on my mirror.

 

Id then like to add a new cam in the stock mount in tailgate to plug into the advent.

_{basically you want 2 separate backup cameras? one for the mirror to mount on your salter, and one for the nav unit in the stock location. easiest thing to do is, get a separate aftermarket backup camera kit like the ones sold by ADC Mobile, or camera-source.com and extend the stock one to the salter. you'll have to cut and splice the stock wiring to make it detachable though.}

Ok, is there a better camera that mounts in the factory location?

 

I think i could do some quick disconnects for the factory camera then extend it to mount on my salter?
