Here is my first elk taken 10/26/02 which is my oldest daughters birthday to boot. This perfect 6X6 was taken near Thrope WA.

I told my buddies years ago, that when I got my first elk, I was going to mount him...... then gut him. :cheers:

Just kidding, I was only helping him lift his head for the camera since he was dead tired! :flag:

Congrats! I want to hunt Elk some day, I might get to next year but well see. I hope to get drawn for New Mexico.
