dash water noise

my truck makes this noise like water our air in the dash could there be air in the closed water systems ???

What type of sound is it? A bubbling or a sloshing sound..., and what part of the dash is it coming from and what year/model is your truck???

If your truck is a newer HD with roof marker lamps, they have been known to leek and there may be some water in the overhead console....

My truck is a 99 and sometimes I hear a noise like that. Water sounds like it is sloshing around in the air conditioner ducts. I just thought that I was hearing things so I put it out of my mind. You know the older you get the less you can see and hear!!!

If you hear it coming from the dash, then more than likely you just have an air pocket in the cooling system. Fill up your overflow tank about an inch over the full cold line, then start the truck and let it warm up to normal operating temperature. Shut it off, let it cool down and then repeat the warming/cooling cycle a couple more times. That should fix your problem. :thumb:
