A Little Help...

My father in law recently passed away, in his garage he had a prestine red GMC Sierra with a Vortech Supercharger. I was told it has about 500hp, but also that the tranny and rear axle are damaged. I also believe it has not been started in the last year.

 

Does anyone have recommend shops in Orange County/Inland Empire California I could take it too to get an estimate on repairs. Once everything is finalized, I would want is all repaired. I assume with the vortech supercharge, the tranny might have been completely blown.

I can't recommend any shops locally, as I'm about 3K miles east of you .... however, if you want a tranny that can & will handle that kind of HP, then check these guys out. They specialize in overdrive trannys : http://www.transmissioncenter.net/

I guess I would go with RPM or FLT....just buy a built trans and have the rearend fixed
