Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement?

I've got a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 6in lift 35in tires with a Bullydog programmer and 107,000 miles. My left front brake was locking up on me, i could smell the pads wearing when i would drive it about 20 miles or so and i thought it could have been a bad caliper or the brake hose, so i replaced the left caliper and pads in the front and sadly it did not fix my problem. The ABS light and brake light are coming after about a mile of driving but as soon as i turn the truck off and turn it back on they turn off until i drive it for another mile or two. it only does it when i get up to speeds of about 30+ mph. I had it ran on a Snap-On scanner and went into ABS trouble codes and it said "EBCM Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Fault." The mechanic told me that i need to replace the whole EBCM, but I don't really want to spend the whole $400+ that it would cost to replace it. let alone letting the computer bleed the brakes. I checked all the connections to the wheel speed sensor and none of them are disconnected worn or broken. I was just wondering if there was any other possible things that i could try and fix before i replace the ECBM just incase that might not be the problem. Or if anyone else has had this problem with something that fixed it. I'm in the Marine corps and living in North Carolina, and i get out in 12 days.. and i have to drive it back to michigan.. and don't really need the brakes going out on that 900 mile trip... i need help!

"Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Fault" says it all most likely a bad LF wheel sensor but you should post the code number.

alright i'll go get it scanned again i can't remember the code. but that's what i thought to except i didn't know why the code would come up and say EBCM in there too...

and i looked up the wheel speed sensor and checked O'reiley's, advanced auto, auto zone and napa, but none of them had a wheel speed sensor for a crew cab 4x4 all they had was the 2 wheel drive wheel speed sensor. would there be any difference?
