12v Plug Ins

So I'm having a small issue with my 12v cigarette lighter plug ins. There is two that came factory with the truck which is fine. But just the one works. I got no voltage going through the other one. I checked all my fuses and they are all good and i checked the wiring behind the plug in itself and it all seems fine to me. Has anyone encountered this or know a trick i can get this to work? it would be nice to have it going again, if not i can always get those splitters that go in the plug in.

Are you sure you checked all the fuses? Be sure to look in the box under the hood too.

i believe mine was blown outside in the underhood fuse panel. i thought my obd port was not working too till i replaced the fuse.

Yeah i checked all my fuses under the hood. I will take another look tonight or tomorrow tho. Do you perhaps remember what gm labeled it as in the fuse box?

On an '04 it should say "CIG LTR" on it

You said you checked the voltage, so I assume that was with a meter.

That said, I have had a few cigarette lighter plugs that were just difficult to push in far enough. if your test was not with a meter, ensure the plug is in far enough somehow.

I cannot remember... Is either outlet wired with the ignition/on/acc key position?

I did it with a meter and got nothing, maybe i will just keeping playing around with it.
