Gmt-800 Outside Mirror Blind Spot

I know I can't be the only one who has an issue with thier side mirrors and not being able to see the curb due to the shape of the mirrors having the lower inside corner cut off.....or am I ???.....If you have the same issue, what did you do to resolve it ???.....I was thinking of a square convex mirror on the base of the mirror....not the glass, just where the mirror pivots....but I think there might be a problem when using the power fold feature, it'll probably hit......really don't want to put one on the mirror glass.

I have been thinking about adding a set of kool-vue towing mirrors. Look the same as the gm ones, just a lot cheaper. Apparently you can see better with these, especially if towing a trailer thats wider than your truck.

When backing into a parking spot, can't see curbing.....I could use the" mirror tilt in reverse" feature, but IMO it tilts down too far....can see the curb, but not the car on the other side of you

I use my mirror tilt in reverse feature but I set it to exactly where I want it. Both mirrors "turn down" to my sweet spot every time. It took me like 20 minutes in regular parking lot to get the right position....

all you have to do is get to a comfortable space, shift into reverse and then once the mirrors have turned down, readjust them to where you like them. after that, shift into drive and wait a couple of seconds. Then shift into reverse again to see if the mirrors "turn down" to your desired position.

i got some little mirrors about that fit right in the bottom left corner of my mirror and it allows me to look with a quick glance and see whether or not there is a car there
