Towing Mirrors

Hey guys, I just bought an 06 GMC 2500HD to tow our 32' trailer. The truck had all the tow package goodies except for the mirrors. Id like a set of those pull out towing mirrors. Ive been looking on e-bay and Id like to know if you guys have any experience with e-bay mirrors?? What are good bolt on oem style mirrors and what are cheap chinese made knockoffs. Ive looked at GM oe mirrors and I dont want to spend $1000.

What do you guys think?? Id really not like to get stuck with some poorly done "universal fit" mirrors.

I've heard that the brand Kool vue is crap and don't waste the savings on them. I couldn't tell what brand those mirrors were but make sure thats not the manufacturer. I want the Hot power lite mirrors from www.truckchamp.com

Thanks Duramax owner, will the signal mirrors work on mine even if I didnt have the signal mirrors from the factory??

Yes the signals should work. Also I just bought a set of Koolvue. No problems I have seen yet.

Well I had read on other forums that a lot of guys were having the Kool vues shake after X amount of miles. Just trying to let him know what I have read. Some have had great luck I guess.
