Low Profile Bug Deflector For 2008 Silverado

I am looking for a low profile bug shield for my 2008 silverado. I want something sleek, not bulky. Just went onto auto anything and the egr one looked nice and was only $60. Anyone have one of these? I am going to get the clear one and paint to match my truck. Thanks for help in advance.

no matter which one you get you'll have to deal with the noise factor, especially the one GM sells. it changes the wind profile. the only fix I've found is to re-seal the trim around the windshield.

I find (unfortunately) the bigger and uglier, the more effective.

I opted, however, for the low profile WeatherTech. Easy install. Zero noise.

Anecdote: My very first highway trip after install of mine resulted in small paint chip (something got kicked up) about halfway up my hood. Hence, I find that the low profile ones are not an end-all solution.

Doubtless, however, had I not installed it, my hood (especially the nose) would be in much worse shape.
