Well since GM has extended the 0% thing till the end of the year, thought about trading in.

 

Anyone else have that new truck itch?  

 

Not like I need a new one, currently have a 99 and just flipped over 24k miles and just paid it off in August.  Went looking last month and was appalled at the current prices, both of the new ones and my trade-in value.

 

Had one dealer tell me they could only offer $9,000 for it but would turn around and sell it for $13-14k and that I'd be stupid for trading it in early.

 

So am I crazy?

No, you're not crazy.  You just need to go to another dealer.  Hard to say what your truck's worth without knowing the motor, body style, 2 or 4WD, etc.  But your truck is almost 4 years old, how is that trading in early?  And it's paid off?  Any dealer should be jumping at the chance to work with you -
